About Aman Tailor
Aman Tailor is a ladies tailor in Amritsar, run by the same family since 1925. Started by Sardar Achhar Singh, continued by his son Sardar Pritam Singh and today run by Amandeep Singh, the shop has spent three generations on one thing — garments that fit properly and finish cleanly.
Located in the Joshipura and Amarkot area near Khalsa College for Women, we handle professional stitching, alterations and personalised ladies clothing with attention to comfortable fitting and individual styling requirements.
Our customers are not only from Amritsar. Families visiting from other cities in India and from Australia, Canada, the USA, England and New Zealand regularly get stitched with us, and we courier completed orders to addresses across the world.

Aman Tailor opened its doors in 1925, when Sardar Achhar Singh began stitching for families across Amritsar — every garment measured, cut and sewn by hand. The standard he set, an honest fit and a clean finish, is still the standard the shop works to.

Sardar Pritam Singh
His son, Sardar Pritam Singh, took the craft forward and grew the shop's reputation in ladies tailoring. Many families in Amritsar who came to him for their weddings still come to us today, a generation later.

The shop is now run by Amandeep Singh, son of Pritam Singh. He brings contemporary designs, modern styling and worldwide delivery to a craft that has stayed in the same family, in the same city, for a hundred years.
